Study the basics

We will talk about the do's and don'ts of the wilderness building off of our 1st week's conversations.  In February we discussed what the vision for the group will be.  We touched on a lot of topics such as foraging for mushrooms, ramps and other foods, knot tying, fire starting, shelter building, gathering for cooking and medicinal purposes, finding North by reading the forest, tree ID, and more.  We talked about what each person can bring to the group from their past life experiences.  We'd like to see a larger group to gather more knowledge and experience.  We opened and closed in prayer.  Please RSVP for this next life group event.  Feel free to bring a friend or family member along.  
This date is set up to meet at church but we may pick a park or trail system to meet as we get closer and see what the weather will do.
